One (1) out of five (5) children are hungry in our community!

Child hunger is a major issue. The purpose of The Children's Healthy Pantry is to ensure at risk children in Title I schools have additional food during the school day. Some Children take the snack and bottle water they receive each day from the panty and eat it as their dinner.

Cost for Each Pantry

CHP's goal is to expand to the remaining Title 1 schools in Sarasota for the 2014 - 2015 school year.

To keep all the pantries fully stocked will cost $6,000 a month.

To maintain the already established healthy panties is around $3,000 a month!
